Responsibilities
Initiating contacts with customers, conducting visits, initiating, and conducting marketing activities (trade fairs, congresses, advertisements), identifying market opportunities.
Establishing and maintaining a total market overview and consequently being able to provide strategic advice to the management.
Preparing and organizing internal Kick-Off meetings and hand over key information concerning effective orders.
Build and nurture client relationships to continue winning new contracts.
Co-ordinate with engineering and relevant departments to support the close of a sale as well as monitoring/reporting the activities on existing sales prospects.
Formulate sales plans including lead generation plans to secure new contracts.
Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients.
Dealing with claims and other challenges from customers.
Our requirements
Preferably five years relevant commercial / project experience in maritime industry.
Team worker, a commercial mind-set, with a pragmatic can-do attitude.
University degree in Marine Engineering.
Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills.
Set and communicate priorities, handle stressful situations and achieve team results.
Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
Proficiency in English.
