We are looking for motivated and technically driven Electrical Engineer for our office at Szczecin, Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Identification of design assumptions, formulation of problems and their solutions,
  • Preparation and processing of single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and block diagrams of the power distribution and control system,
  •  Preparation of complete switchboards documentation including layouts, electrical diagrams, material lists,
  • Performing design calculations, e.g. power balance calculation, short circuit calculation, heat trace calculation,
  • Preparation of electrical bill of materials including power supply, control and measurement equipment,
  • Working in a 3D environment in the design of cable routes and equipment arrangement,
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the team, clients, and equipment suppliers in all arising topics,
  • Supervision over the implementation of the project on construction sites.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electrical engineering (power engineering, control engineering or comparable),
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering,
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English (B2+),
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical,
  • Knowledge of MS Office,
  • Responsibility and goal orientation with the ability to make key decisions,
  • Ability to solve problems and use unconventional solutions,
  • Ability to read and understand the electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of the rules of classification societies,

Additional asset

  • Proficiency in electrical and automatic equipment (ship electrical systems, automation, radio, and navigational installations),
  • Experience in ship design,
  • Knowledge of the shipbuilding industry and practical experience,
  • Knowledge of Ex-proof system,
  • Knowledge of EPlan Electric P8.
